About Me

I am currently a Junior Interior Designer working in the Exhibtion Industry. Design has always been a passion of mine, I’ve always known that one day I will either be an architect or an interior designer, and I definitely  feel that this is what I am meant to be doing. I strongly believe that design can be a powerful tool that can make a change in peoples lives and possibly make a difference in the world, and because of this belief I always try to incorporate something of value and meaning in order to create something that will stand out and possibly educate or send a message to the viewer to make a lasting impression on them. I am a self-motivated, passionate, dedicated and hard worker who is hungry for a challenge and willing to go the extra mile.

I was born in the most amazing City of South Africa, Cape Town in 1994. Ever since I was little I knew that I wanted to Design, I was always interested in buildings and how things were built and the history behind it all.

My original choice was always architecture but as I grew older, my artistic abilities played a huge role in my life and I knew that I would want to incorporate the artistic side to my career so I looked into Interior Architecture, and knew that, that was the career for me.

Interior Design is an amazing feeling, it is hard work, but seeing the end result makes up for all the endless nights of working. Interior Design itself is such an interesting field, and just by experiencing different designs and looks gets me excited to graduate and start working in the field. My great grandfather always told me "Pal , if you do what you love, you wont work a day in your life". This is so true and for me this is my passion, being creative and putting things together to make people happy, and to create an environment where people are able to share and enjoy.

Therefor in my designs I like to symbolise that society needs to start changing the way that they look at things, we need to start looking deeper, looking closer and taking note of the small treasure of life, and once we change our outlook on life, even if its one things, it can be changed  dramatically, and that is what i want my designs to achieve, not only to serve its usual function but also to try make a small impact on peoples lives.

I love exploring the city of Johannesburg, because there are so many hidden treasures, and beauties, the architecture, the small coffee shops, the art on the walls just everything is beautiful, all you need to do is look past the ugly and then you can see the actual beauty the city, and city possesses.

My favourite things to do in my free time is discover small coffee shops, and enjoy the day out at different food markets and drinking coffee, I enjoy the contemporary and more chilled vibes of the city.

I try to gain inspiration from everywhere I go, and the things I am fortunate enough to experience as I believe a successful designer should constantly looks for new innovative ways of designing , thinking and problem solve.
